Two hanged in Iran for "robbery, rape"

TEHRAN - Two men, found guilty of armed robbery and rape, were hanged publicly on Tuesday in the southwestern Iranian province of Khuzestan, according to al—Kahyan.
The two were convicted by a court in Behbahan and executed after the Islamic republic's Supreme Court affirmed the verdict, the paper said.
They were hanged in the town's martyrs' square before a large crowd.
