The Islamic regime is increasing the Soccer repression and its security measures with the approach of the 2006 World Cup games in Germany. In that line, contingency plans have been established on ways to control the crowd, expected to come into the streets after each of the Iranian National team's games starting on June 11th.
Para-military forces are to be deployed massively in main cities, jamming of abroad based satellite waves and short wave radio frequencies are to be increased, and even, some buildings and facilities are to be set on fire, by Intelligence officers, in order to justify massive crackdown.
Other plans in order to limit popular presence are in study and even some of the announced projects, such as installing big screen TVs in main squares, have been cancelled.
