Read part of what SMCCDI wrote to

President George Bush:

"Mr. President, in less than three centuries, America has become the beacon of hope and support for people worldwide seeking freedom and democracy.

"Embedded in your actions to free the oppressed is, we believe, a deep seated moral basis that is a reflection of America's founding fathers objectives.

"The moral fiber that you and many of the people in your administration represent is the same democratic principals that the people of Iran desperately want and need.

"Serving as a model for the world to emulate, America, you, and most of your administration provides inspiration and hope for the future of Iran. "

supporters of free trade, free speech, individual rights, rule of law, technology, capitalism for Iran

Supporting the 5th Anniversary

of the Iranian Student Uprising
The Australian based Iran Campaign, PRODOS Institute, will be holding a demonstration in Melbourne, Australia, this Friday, July 9, to show support and solidarity with the SMCCDI and its call for free thinking and free markets in Iran.

The PRODOS Institute is the creator and global coordinator of the worldwide Celebrate Capitalism campaign and produces PRODOS.COM internet radio, an ardently pro-capitalism, pro-science, pro-American web-based radio program.

The PRODOS Institute currently runs campaigns supporting individual rights in Cuba and supporting a strong Israel. It has recently become interested in developments in Iran and what appears to be the growth of a vigorous pro-American, pro-free-trade movement that supports the establishment of a secular state.

The project leader for the forthcoming solidarity demo is American novelist and activist, Sydney Kendall, who now lives in Australia and is the Melbourne coordinator for Celebrate Capitalism and joint coordinator of the Discover Thomas Jefferson Project.
