The following is the Public letter, in 3 pages, of 568 Iranian scholars calling for the release of the dissident Ayatollah Montazeri.
The letter wriiten for the attention of the Islamic regime's Supreme National Security Council is stating that the continuation of Montazeri's House arrest, in the city of Qom, could create grounds for the separation of the people from the state and weaken the national consensus and threaten security.''
