The following is the Public call of "Khorram Abad" residents in order to remember the tragedy of August 25, 2002, in which day, the Islamic republic's zealots attacked the peaceful gathering of the several hundreds of students in this provincial city.
This repressive action resulted in the popular support of the students and 5 days of bloody clashes leading to several deaths and injured among the population but also the regime forces. Some militiamen and War veterans took arms to help the students.
The letter slams the regime's deadly repression and calls for a popular silent rally in this town on Sunday.
